Matt Devereux
Racing Driver
Matt began sim racing at a very early age, progressing up to a professional driving simulator.
He made his debut into real motorsport, competing in his FIRST RACE in the Fiesta ST Series in Mondello Park on 6th July 2025, posting a fastest lap of 02:09.40 - 7 seconds over the lap record; its a foundation we'll work from.
Racing Simulator
The rig we assembled is extremely versatile and can switch between GT Supercar to Rally and recently a simulated version of a Ford Fiesta ST to train for Matt’s real world racing.
The setup is the end result of constant evolution, starting from an X-Box through to this high spec PC based system.
The wheels can interchange quickly and are pretty much exact versions of what are in the real cars.
One of the many benefits of simulator driving is that Matt has amassed vast experience of tracks and rally courses all over the world. "However in a sim rig you can try new things and just hit reset if you crash. So you've got to condition yourself, to take it so seriously when in preparation for the real thing." Timed training sessions in full race gear helps greatly with his mental and physical training. All along with gym, cardio and specialized workouts eg. neck strengthening rig.
If you are planning to take your sim racing or sim rallying to the next pro or semi-pro level, we provide a 1:1 consultancy. "Our advice will save you in the long run, by creating a custom made plan for your build and helping you choose the best options for your budget - future proofing your progression in sim racing and/or training for real motorsport."
